Once the restless kid you met in school with black lipstick and a bowl cut, Gabrielle Ang has been building experiences in the music scene with Symmetry Sounds and formerly EMONIGHTSG. She’s slammed poetry, ordered hawker dishes for Neck Deep and made viral shitposts for Olivia Rodrigo at Universal Music Singapore.
A despiser of cramped spaces, mass production and acoustic covers, Gabrielle believes that everything must have legroom for all your senses. Her philosophy is that cities must be explored on foot; all fragrances should strive to tell a good story and a work is only great if you remember your own reaction to it. In other words, everything should take up space, even if it pisses you off.
Gabrielle is currently pursuing a B.SocSci in Sociology at Nanyang Technological University, where she argues in class to stay awake.
